two equally important strands:
1. To give life to the promise of indemnity - to have the policy holder’s
security at the forefront at all times whether that be settling a claim on
reasonable terms or defending the policy holder’s position when they face legal
action.
2. Risk management - claims are our experience. 3red is committed to
providing meaningful feedback to policy holders so that the risk of similar
claims in the future can be minimised.

The 3red claims management department has
the benefit of being led and directed by Mark Moyes. Mark is a claims manager with unparalleled experience
in the Australian insurance market as well as extensive international experience.
· Mark Moyes is a lawyer and has
been working in claims management for over 40 years. He has worked
extensively on both the insurance and reinsurance sides of the industry and his
particular area of expertise is the management of claims and the response of
the contract to those claims.
· Mark has been exposed to most
of the major losses that affected the Australian insurance industry since the
1980s. He has travelled extensively throughout Australia, Europe and the United
States gaining exposure through training, audits and inspections of
international insurance claims operations across all classes of non-life
business.
· For over 10 years, Mark managed
the claims department of Munich Reinsurance Company of Australia. He then had
the opportunity to create a brand new claims management operation for
Reinsurance Australia Corporation where he gained another decade of local and
international experience.

and self-insurers in all aspects of claims management, including assistance and
technical advice on claims ranging from a single claim or the management of an
entire portfolio. We can also comment on the organisation and management of
internal and external claims functions.
Profile Example - Claims Operations
Management Assessment:
A financial institution
based in Australia requested the services of 3red to assess the management
operations of their outsource provider of claims management. 3red developed a
good relationship with the outsource provider to gain an insight into their
management operation and audited a number of claims files. 3red’s assessment of the outsource provider’s operation provided the client insurer
with the information to negotiate a better deal on the cost of claims
management when the contract was renewed.
